If you are feeling worried or stressed about anything you can always talk to a youthworker at your youth club.
You might just want to chat, or perhaps you might want them to help you get in touch with someone else who can help.

Young Persons Health Drop-in
If you don’t want to see your own doctor there is a doctor especially for young people offering a confidential service who comes to the Junction Community and Young Persons venue on Fridays from 2.45-4.00pm

Community Mental Health Team
You can talk to a youth worker about any thing that might be worrying you. If they think that you may need more help they may suggest that they refer you to the Mental Health Service for Children and Adolescents. This is a team of specialist workers who can help young people (up to 18yrs) experiencing mental health issues

Centre News : Duke of Edinburgh Award
Centre News We are launching the Duke of Edinburgh award here at the Junction in Newton Abbot.
This is for any young person who wishes to take part, you have to be aged between 14plus.

All levels of the award will be available, the fisrt session is September 14th and this will continue every Wednesday from then on.

You can join in anytime after this date.

If you would like more information about D of E and about the sessions please come in and speak to Stuart at the Junction anytime.

Centre News : skate boarding sessions
Centre News sk8 sessions should be starting in October, We are currently just re-vamping the ramps to ensure they are ready for use.

These will be on a Saturday night between 6-9pm.

We are currently looking for volenteers to help run these sessions, which will include setting up equiptment, supervising aspects of the session and closing down at the end.

Anybody aged 14 and over wishing to help us with this should get in contact with Roald or Moses at the junction.
